De mixed media canvas heb ik voor mijn man gemaakt! (Op de foto is hij 8 jaar oud:0)
Ik heb servetten en mod podge gebruikt, structure pasta, stempels, distress paint & inkt.

I made this canvas for my husband (on the picture he's 8 years old:0)

I used napkins, mod podge, structure paste, stamps, distress paint & ink...

DT TMC - masterboard

Welkom bij de april challenge van TMC!
Deze maand is het thema maak een 'masterboard' en verwerk dit in je mixed media project!

Welcome to our April Challenge.

Our theme for this month is to create and use a Masterboard. A masterboard is a large background piece designed to be cut up and used in smaller projects, such as journals, postcards, cards, ATC's etc. It can be created with any combination of collage, paint, inks, sprays, rubber stamps, stencils.

I made this masterboard with my gelli-plate, acrylic & distress paints, stencils etc
I decorated the rocking horse with this print & lots of ornaments mod molds!

TMC Mixed Media Journal Cover

Hoi allemaal,

De tweede challenge van 2015 bij de The Mirror Crack'd start vandaag! 
Voor deze opdracht heb ik mijn Art Journal album een mixed media jasje gegeven! Misschien heb je nog ergens een album liggen. Maak er iets leuks van en gebruik diverse mixed media technieken. 
Je kunt een cadeaubon winnen, dus doe gezellig mee!!

For this, our second challenge of 2015, we would like you to create a mixed media Album cover or Journal cover – Any subject, but using multiple techniques and materials.

TMC DT - Recycle/upcycle

Hoi allemaal,

Vandaag start de vierde challenge bij The Mirror Crack'd!!

Het thema voor de komende maand is recycle/upcycle...

Ik heb een houten kistje gerecycled...Eerst alles vastgeplakt m.b.v een lijmpistool. Daarna 2 lagen witte gesso. Tenslotte Inka Gold aangebracht in 3 verschillende kleuren:0)

Welcome to our Fourth Challenge.

We challenge you this month to recycle or upcyle something. If you have something a bit old and tatty you can give it a makeover and turn it into something else, or just give it a new lease of life. We realise that this month will be particularly busy for you, so if you would rather enter something you have made as a Christmas gift, that will be fine also. Maybe you have done both? Upcycled something for a gift! Whatever your creation we are looking forward to seeing it.

I recycled a wooden box! I painted all the embellishments with white gesso.

Finally I painted 3 different layers of Inka Gold...

Vandaag heb ik een leuk nieuwtje voor jullie!

Laatst werd ik gevraagd door Lin of ik plaats wilde nemen in een design team voor het nieuwe mixed media challenge blog The Mirror Crack'd . Daar hoefde ik natuurlijk niet lang over na te denken, aangezien ik sinds een jaar met veel plezier mixed media projecten maak:0)

5 September start de eerste challenge en je kunt hier alvast een kijkje nemen en volger worden als je dat leuk vindt....

We will be running challenges once a month on the fifth day of each month, some of which might have prizes, but all of which the team will be choosing their Top 3 or if we have sufficient entries, their Top 5. From time to time we may ask our winner or favourite entrant to be a guest designer with us...

Ik ben druk bezig met de eerste mixed media, die jullie in september te zien krijgen. Dus nog even geduld!
Verder ben ik veel bezig in de keuken. Ik heb het koken & bakken nieuw leven ingeblazen en het smaakt allemaal goed:0)
